DMCA & Copyright Policy
AttireSnap respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our platform to do the same. This policy explains our procedures for responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and applicable Indian copyright law.
1. Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that material on our platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice (a "DMCA Takedown Notice") to our designated copyright agent containing the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material on our platform (e.g., a direct URL).
- Your contact information including name, address, email address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send your DMCA notice to: dmca@AttireSnap.com
2. Our response procedure
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material (within 72 hours of receipt of a complete, valid notice).
- Notify the user who uploaded the content of the takedown.
- Provide the uploader with information about how to submit a counter-notification.
3. Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@AttireSnap.com containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the local courts.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will reinstate the content within 10–14 business days unless the complaining party files a court action.
4. Repeat infringers
AttireSnap operates a repeat infringer policy. Users who are subject to three or more valid DMCA takedown notices will have their accounts terminated and will be prohibited from creating new accounts.
5. AI-generated content and copyright
AI-generated outputs produced by AttireSnap are generated from your uploaded product images. You are responsible for ensuring that your uploaded images do not contain third-party copyrighted elements (including brand logos, trademarked prints, or licensed artwork) for which you do not hold appropriate rights. Generating AI imagery based on infringing source material is a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. False claims
Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages. Please ensure your notice is accurate before submitting.
